Art Therapy

Well it's been a long time since I've been on this blog or since I've drawn anything. When I was younger I was very artistic and would enjoy drawing on a regular basis. Over the past few years a lot of things were happening throughout my life and this effected my mental health quite drastically and this is when I decided to stop drawing or focusing on any hobbies that used to make me happy.

Yesterday I decided to spend some time drawing for the first time in around 4 years and I completely forgot how relaxing it can be. I've decided it's now time to focus on hobbies that make me happy again and drawing is definitely one of them! 

I've now made an Instagram page dedicated to my art and I'll be posting drawings on this regularly and I'm looking to get back into creating clothing items and all the other fun things I used to love doing. Santorini Wedding

Santorini in Greece was the most beautiful place I've ever been for a wedding, and that was my brother and his wife's. They decided to get married at Dana Villa's (which I would highly recommend) it was absolutely beautiful, the view, the food and the staff were great. Also, the cats there made my day much better- who doesn't want cats at their wedding! 

My brother decided to wear a traditional Scottish kilt which looked great on him and his wife wore a beautiful long sweetheart neckline dress. They both looked amazing and I'm so glad they had a great wedding - they deserved it! I would definitely go back to Santorini, there's so much to see and do, and the weather is just amazing.

Holiday Shopping

Decided to go last minute holiday shopping today and while I was out I couldn’t resist but get myself some heels, jewellery and make-up!

I got my heels from Miss Selfridge, they are so comfortable and easy to walk in and a lovely nude shade that can go with anything. The necklace and earrings are from Dorothy Perkins which both go really well with the heels and I love the exaggerated statement look. The nail polish set is Essie ‘a sprinkle of pink’. The lipsticks are Loreal paris, J-Lo and Julianne’s exclusive collection of nude colours.

Smoothies

Well, I've been staying at my mums new place for the past few days and while I was there we decided to make loads of smoothies. We also used the nutribullet blender for these which is AMAZING and definitely worth the buy!

My favourite smoothie we made included:

• 3 strawberries.
• 7 raspberries.
• 15 blueberries.
• 1 mango.
• 1/4 of a melon.
• 200ml of semi-skimmed milk.

This was only the recipe for one person though, so I'd double it per person.

I'm definitely going to keep making smoothies from now on, they're SO good. If you have any good smoothie recipes please let me know about them in the comments, I'd love to try some new ones!

Bucket List 2015

Today I've decided to start on my bucket list. I've thought about doing this before but never really got round to it so it's something completely new to me. I've not got much on my list yet so I'm going to keep adding to it over time.

2. Go to a safari park.

3. Go to New York during New Year.

4. Go on a road trip with my friends.

5. Go to Egypt.

6. Cover a whole wall in my room with polaroid photographs.

7. Take my mum on holiday where ever she wants.

8. Scuba dive.
